Climax Studios are based in the historic city of Portsmouth on the South Coast of the UK. The studio is in Gunwharf Quays, a rejuvenated commercial and leisure area, with many shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, gym and hotel close at hand. The studio is a large double height, open plan, creative space with spectacular views out across the Solent and Portsmouth Harbour.

HOW TO FIND US

Gunwharf Quays has excellent public transport links, as well as a 1532 space underground car park that gives direct access to the site.

Portsmouth Harbour train station, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are only 5 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays. A short drive takes you to the Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal, and Gunwharf Quays is only 10 minutes drive away from the cross-channel ferry terminal.

The M275 brings you directly in to Portsmouth, and the brown signs for the Historic Waterfront lead you straight to Gunwharf Quays.

COMING BY RAIL:

Portsmouth Harbour railway station is next to Gunwharf Quays.

COMING BY CAR:

The A3(M) or M27/A27 connect Portsmouth Harbour with the rest of Britain’s motorway network. There is a 1,532 space car park at Gunwharf Quays.

Come into Portsmouth on the M275 and follow the brown signs to the Historic Waterfront, and then Gunwharf Quays.

If you are using a Sat Nav to come to Climax Studios, please use postcode PO1 3AF – this is for the Portsmouth Registry Office but will bring you towards Gunwharf Quays by the most direct route. At the traffic lights on Park Road where you will be instructed to turn right to go to the Registry Office, please proceed straight on to Gunwharf Quays and into the car park.

The office entrance is situated between Gunwharf Quays Information and the retail store ‘Lulu Guinness’ on Vernon Avenue.
