Portsmouth is something of a hidden gem among the UK's more famous tourist-attraction cities, but we think that's part of its charm and what has allowed it to retain its unique character. It's a classic, comfortable city offering great restaurants, bars, shopping and parks, yet has a feisty, arty edge that comes partly from the large student population - and history-buffs are spoiled for choice. There's always something to do, especially near our studios in Gunwharf Quays, but the pace in Portsmouth hits just the right balance of energetic and relaxed.
Sure, we're conveniently located here for access to London and its attractions and airports. But Portsmouth doesn't need any outside help to be a buzzing, thriving, multicultural destination that's all the better for flying under the tourist radar. Come and see for yourself.
